rain

i love the rain

the pitter patter of raindrops on the roof is like a musical piece orchestrated by Mother Nature

for me, there is nothing that could make me feel as i do when i listen to the sounds of the rain around me

the falling of  raindrops on my umbrella and on the windscreen of my car(among others) gives me a feeling of calmness that i couldn’t really describe in words and when i’m at home, it lulls me to sleep |-)

whenever i am down and depressed, the coming of a rain would always cheer me up, if not of very much help, in the very least; but most people tend to get depressed on rainy days

figuratively, this is the way for me because the rain kinda like comes and wash away all the tears that had been streaming down my face when i’m crying

the rain comes,  washes all my sadness away, get me all soaked and at the end of the day, i’m still grateful for what it had done for me on the inside (not that i mind in the tiniest bit of having my clothes all soggy and wet)

ever since i was a child, i have loved the rain…  for the fun it brings

in my primary school, when it rains, the football field would be, in a way, flooded, and for some reason that i still can’t figure out up till now, there would be loads (yeah, LOADS) of  frog eggs in the large puddles of water…

and guess what i and a few of my friends would do? we’d somehow find plastic bags or a container of some kind and we, and some guys will then scoop up as many eggs as we can

when i reached home, i remember asking my dad if i could put the eggs into the aquarium with the fishes. he told me ‘NO’

and what i did later was that i poured the contents of my plastic bag into the drain outside my house

i do hope the eggs survived from anythin nasty and that the tadpoles did get to live their life

doing this felt so good, along with the other things i once did when it rains. I LOVE ALL THE MEMORIES OF ME AND THE RAIN =D

i enjoy hitting the puddles of water that’s found after a rain, with a consequence that means i gonna have my shoes dirty LOL

when it rains, driving too seems to be of more fun, a favorite thing of mine to do

adding to that also, is that i’m one of those lucky girls who gets to walk under the rain while sharing an umbrella with the one guy she likes ❥ man, i’m getting all dizzy with the romantic stuffs people do

everything that’s got to do with the rain is good. the smell of it, the feeling of it on the skin...

maybe it’s just me, but it seems like everything  was better when we were kids.Why is that so? Probably because we are more carefree and have less worries

when the year- end exams are done with, i gotta try singing in the rain like Gene Kelly, and dance too… :-# lest they will try to keep a lookout for me doing that

and, here’s me as i sit facing the balcony of my friend’s condo to look at the beautiful view all around and below as it rains

if i could, i wanna kiss the rain right now ♥

half- expected myself to get a really low score on this, coz… well, i’m a coffee freak but most of the times, i don’t actually try to get to know about what i’m ordering at Dome and Starbucks

seems to me like this is the time to change this attitude, or i might soon loose all the curiosity in me 

so yeah, the result i got: Espresso No- Go; nice try but coffee lingo is not your cup of tea. You probably like your coffee plain and simple- fancy foams and flavor need not apply

special banana shake

with four tubs of ice- cream and three tubs of baskin robbins in the freezer, my dad decided to make shakes during lunch

one was the usual vanilla shake, while the other was… well, it’s obvious from the title of this post… yeah, you got it right: a special banana shake =D

if you ask me, banana shake ain’t my favorite and on any other day i wouldn’t consider having one, but this is different

at first sight, the final product is pink in color… somethin different of what i’d expect of a banana shake

and there goes me getting a taste of it and it’s YUMMY! i’m serious.

one of my favorite hangout places on the weekends is suria klcc

and kino’s one of the honored outlets that have me keep going there to waste my time away when i’m done with shopping… haha, LOL… but true…

for that, i’ll always have something to buy from there coz i’ll be walking around the shelves in search of good books and stationaries, but not in circles

however, these are the only things in the bookstore that i can only look at but will never spend my money on unless i’m so freakin rich

oh, how i wish that i’ll be getting these things for my birthday

YAY! IT’ S FINALLY THE MONTH OF SEPTEMBER!

man, i’ve been waiting this month for so long… why, you ask :-S

well, let’s hold that for a bit – lemme copy paste what i’ve found when i wikipedia- ed, first…

there’s also Black Eyed Peas comin down to KL to party on the 25th. I’ m still decidin if i should part with my 100 bucks and above to dance the night away in my all- black sexy clubbin garb  hmmm…  should I?

*snaps finger suddenly* now i remember one more thing… it’s  the Mid Autumn Festival… but *sighs* it’s not happenin this month coz it’s a leap year in the chinese calendar, so this festival’ll be in october pity me, that my birthday’s on Hari Raya; at the same time it’s Hungry Ghost festival *sniffs back tears*

that’s all, it seems, to make me love  and waitin  for september now you know why…

it’s gonna be 31st August in a few hours time  *glances at the time on the taskbar*

hmmm…. but i don’t think its got lots of meaning for us Malaysians anymore

if one were to ask why, i’ve got one question to ask : Do you like the recent turn of events that had made a name for themselves in the local media?

well, the answer is for you yourself to know and i need not elaborate more

however, one thing i gotta say here is that we aren’t in any sense of the word ‘merdeka’ to be truly merdeka

physically, to the world, malaysia’s free from the invasion of any outside power and for 52 years we rule ourselves

this is a fact, and we all know this– but if we will ourselves to look deeper and see the bigger picture, the signs of still not being a truly independent country are everywhere

please don’t think that merdeka is all about races putting aside their differences and being one

yeah, and this year especially, wherever we go, all we hear is that we should all stay united as one, the 1Malaysia concept, bla bla….  on a rather over- emphasizing basis

this is by some sort a way of distracting the rakyat from what is the actual thing that we ought to be concerned of

so people, what color should us all be rockin this merdeka/ independence day?

if you’re still havin problems deciding (though i bet you wouldn’t), watch this…

if you think democracy is dead in our country, there could only be one color for Aug31: BLACK. that’s the color it gonna be…

however, i’ll most likely be struttin my black tee around the confines of my house since i’m gonna be studyin for my college tests and i’ve shopped enough during this holiday (and gotten somewhat bored with it. LOL)

years ago (well, maybe many) lotsa people don’t know Malaysia

initially, i don’t believe it either, but, knowing people with such experiences had made me to accept that there’s such thing where people have never heard of a country before

if you ask me (now, or, years ago) what i think bout such situations, i’d say that if one haven’t heard of the places that existed around oneself,  then the said person is dumb…. yeah, you heard me right…

i mean no offense here; it’s just me speaking my mind and you can say anything about how i think OR better still, IGNORE ME

to whoever reading this post who can’t accept what i’m saying, then go hide under your shell and think that you’re the only smart ass that this world has

it doesn’t mean that if a country isn’t  a player in any way on the world map, then you don’t have to know about it, but…  i do kinda agree that Malaysia should try to be one of them, not just sit back and let us to be underestimated

which leads me as a Malaysian to agree that Malaysia ain’t the best country to live in, despite the nice food, shopping, climate (and all the good  things that fellow Malaysians could think of when it comes to why we love it here) …

many other reasons has made me realize that if only one person wants the people of the country to be united irrespective of skin color (i mean opinions and beliefs too), there’s no use and what’s more,  to make it worse,  there are always people from every race that still thinks birds of a feather should flock together

and this is something that i seriously DISAGREE on

i’m saying these because i’ve seen it with my own eyes many times too many and i’m getting so DAMNED FED UP and these people never learn, not thinking of how much we can all achieve if people work together

in the end, this all leaves a mark on how much people from the other side of the globe knows our country and the people

so, if we fellow Malaysians want everyone from oceans away to know us, start with yourself to make a difference in how much we are known by the world

maybe reading this article from one of the Star pullout section will be of some good (if not much good)  so you’d wanna make a difference on how people view us and our country

and to the people who might not know exactly where Malaysia is, or wanna know more bout this country or see how the political scene has changed (for the worse, i think), google it…. right

when twitter was down

i had lots to tweet bout last night, but the thing is, twitter is down

from busy texting with this one guy,  i got lots of things from our conversation that i just had to tweet …but can’t =(

so, i tried using twitterfox, which seems to suck as well

i couldn’t tweet at all and maybe all twitter apps users experience this too (i don’t know…)

with the twitter fail whale keep appearing on my browser, tweeting couldn’t go much further. WTH

when my repeated attempts were obviously in vain,  and was nothing more than a waste of time,  (I could have put those minutes to much better use – by going to bed early) i shut my laptop down and trudged the stairs up to my room with a begrudging sense of feel towards the people who do not have a twitter account

it’s only at times like this that i sometimes feel non- twitter users are very much lucky individuals

still, lucky me that i have a twitter account…haha =K

aarrgh…my blood pressure is rising from this shit!

for me, this Twitter-is-down hysteria is legitimate, for one simple reason which is: I CAN’T LIVE WITHOUT TWITTER!!!
