come college, there are more and more people i come across who smokes

its not that i give a damn bout this habit of theirs, but there are people i care about who smokes

Uh- huh and so i am no amateur in telling my friends to stop, but i know i certainly didn’t do a good job at it

that is why i’m blogging bout what i found on this site… perhaps many need it as i do =)

DO NOT, i repeat, DO NOT SAY THESE TO EM

• You’ re going to get lung cancer As if they don’t know bout it. They do. So often that they’d want to swat those who said it, like they do a mosquito

• If you loved me, you’d quit A guilt trip wouldn’t work, as it is the case with any addiction. If he believed he could quit, he would. It’ll just make him guilty and feel bad bout himself… and angry at you for making him feel crummy

• Smoking is disgusting. I don’t know why you don’t quit That’s counterproductive because he feels that way, alright- thing is, he can’t admit that to himself. Unless if you wouldn’t mind being the baddie, sure as hell you’d want him to know you’re on his side. Besides, you prolly know him enough to know why he doesn’t quit <== He just can’t

• Look at you; you get out of breath so easily Be subtle, take a sneakier approach, as addiction expert Susan Gayle of New York suggests. Drag him along to take up activities such as swimming or ballroom dancing (i believe many young people aint really into such a dance though). When he figures out that smoking’s getting in the way, Ta- Da!- you’ve made your point

• Do you want your grandchildren to see you smoking? Nah, bringing in the future kids might do as well. You don’t hear those who smoke saying that they aren’t happy with one. Deep down, they’re actually ashamed of their dependence on it. Take the opposite approach, help him envision just how proud he’s gonna be when he finally stops…

P/S: My car don’t take it nicely to having smokers that reek of cigarette smoke inside. And if my boyfriend’s a smoker, i’ll assure him this; No kissing till you brush yo teeth.

just what i’ve been looking out for when it is no more, say, fashionable, to sport black or silver- lacquered nails

come spring/ summer, most of whatever that i bought last season sorta got put away (not totally… since i do feel a sense of belonging with the autumn/ winter trends every year)

don’t get me wrong, but i don’t dress in a particular manner just because that particular season says so, i DO have my own sense of style

the collection comprises of lipstick, lipglass, eye shadow, paint pot, chromagraphic pencil, studio fix lash, impeccable brow pencil, sheertone and mineralize brushes, and nail lacquer

available in a seamless spectrum of parchment- to- vellum beiges, with an occasional, clever colour spill, i reckon everyone could pull it off

so people (no, i mean, ladies) go to the counter nearest to you soon (like real soon)

wait, you could also shop for it online, but i’m a believer of going there and tryin it out yourself nothing beats the good ol way when it comes to shopping for clothes, shoes and make up

anyways, that did nothing to change the fact that i’m still one of those lil monsters BOOYAH!!!

the one and only favourite childhood superhero of mine was Batman (obviously, he still is the one. Even in my teenage years)

but when i try to recall on how this came about, i got totally no idea

the only one thing i know from my younger days is that i’m not a fan of Superman cause i always had a knack for ridiculing his outfit What is there to like about with the red and blue combo? Not to mention how obvious his underpants are…

however, being as old as i am now, i know why i still do love him (to death) as i once were

the fact that he’s probably the only superhero who is one without all the pyrokinetic, mind- reading, flight and superhuman ability is my reason number 1

next reason would be that he’s alter- ego is indeed a perfect hubby material (That’s it. I just told the world what i want in a guy that i’ll marry and want to marry)

besides, he’s all clad in black (Which is the colour i recently found out to be the next favourite colour of mine… and its the colour that my outfits dominate in my wardrobe)

and of course, there’s still the fact that he’s got the coolest gadgets to help him out with his vigilante job (Plus, who’d not want a Tumbler as their own personal ride?)

last but not least is the tale of how he came about to being Batman (look how much he loves his mom and dad) <3 <3 <3

wait, wait, wait………. oopsie, i missed out on how he could actually overcome his fear of flying rodents (reason is, i still have a long way more to go before i can get rid of my fear of heights)

to all Batman fans out there, feel me?

oh, and actually, i think i’m starting to be a fan of Iron Man (for one or two similar reasons) =P

with Pitbull coming to KL (yes, its Mr. 305- not the dog, mind you), what more could a R&B fan ask for?

one would probably think that they couldn’t ask more, but WRONG!

for a night of serious partying,there’d be a few more names on the plate
