balls of fury

if any of you people out there want a good laugh and haven’t watched this movie yet, you gotta go grab the DVD and spend two hours with a PG-13 rated sports comedy

it’ll be worth to spend that money, i swear

i’ve heard it before sometime around last year, but it didn’t occur to me as something worth watching

now i knew i’m wrong

i came across it on HBO today while browsing through the channels on Astro, searching for something actually interesting to watch; Ultraman Dyna, Dragon Ball and Mr Bean live asides

Maggie Q’s appearance was the one that caught my attention to decide on this movie

she’s beautiful =)

i’ve never actually hear the word Chinese usually use to address the whites in a movie before: Gwei Lo (Master Wong portrayed by James Hong calls Randy Daytona by Dan Fogler that)

i love the Chinese elements in it

i was utterly, utterly, utterly shocked when “The Dragon” was introduced and i saw a Chinese girl behind the opened door instead

the locals of China Town speak of her as if she was some great ping pong player and impossible to beat

fortunately, she loses but man, she was not one to accept her defeat graciously; she gave pretty lame excuses in Mandarin and even cried like some silly kid then kicks Daytona before running off in defeat

Feng, the bad guy has an flamboyant dressing sense with clothes similar to like those that Elvis Presley wore

before seeing him appear in the movie, i thought he was a Chinese from his name and seing his residence that was in such an Oriental deco, located somewhere in the jungles of Central America

geez, i realized i had some spoilers here. sorry though

it’s certainly one of the best comedy i had ever watch, in actual fact i hate comedies ever so much

not my favorite movie genre, i prefer horror and action movies

come his inauguration on January 20, 2009, he’ll be the 44th President Of America

i spent my morning keeping track of Barack Obama and Republican John McCain through widgets of the election on msnbc

it was obvious that Obama had a big probability given the blue that kept spreading throughout the map of America, while the red was exceptionally concentrated at states in the middle

but it is better to not be overconfident, isn’t it?

so i did watch as the votes of McCain upped while Obama’s remain the same but times higher

then, the moment came and Obama won!!

i wonder how many more i’ve got to actually post to show my feeling of extreme happiness, i’m so very happy =)

i’m sure lots of people are cheering as well =K

congrats to Obama and Biden, you both deserve the victory

those of you against Obama will change your thought of him, just wait and see…

good job to Americans that vote for Obama, you people will see change, just like what Malaysians did months ago

it’s cool to have a president that plays basketball

this year is certainly a year filled with stuffs that grabs everyone’s attention

take the Beijing Olympics, this presidential election and Malaysia’s own general election for example

one or more of these events did leave quite a mark in everyone, i’m sure of it unless you’re silly or somethin  no offense intended

awwww……man, i want THOSE BADGES BY GAP in conjunction with voting and those ‘vote for_’ tees

too bad i’m livin outside America =(
