i’m feeling a lil bit lazy today, so i’ll just copy paste the plot summary from wiki for those who do not have the slightest idea about this young adult vampire novel

ok, here goes.. >_<

Isabella Swan, commonly known as Bella, moves from sunny Phoenix, Arizona to rainy Forks, Washington to live with her dad, Charlie, so that her mom, Renée, can travel with her new husband, Phil Dwyer, a “strictly minor league” baseball player. Even though she never had many friends in Phoenix, Bella soon discovers she is the new subject of curiosity at her new school in Forks, where she is quickly befriended by several students. Much to her dismay, several boys in the school compete for shy Bella’s attention.

While sitting next to Edward Cullen on her first day of school, he glares angrily at her and displays extreme tension. This leads Bella to believe that he dislikes her. However, his attitude towards her soon begins to change. He displays supernatural abilities while saving Bella from being hit by an out-of-control van about to crush her into another car. After seeing a dent on the side of the van in the shape of Edward’s shoulder, she realizes the van hit him and that he seemed to be holding it away from her, keeping her safe. Bella confronts him afterwards about the strangeness of the situation, but he refuses to talk to her about it. As time passes, Bella and Edward are repeatedly attracted to one another, even though Edward desperately tries to stay away in order to keep her out of the danger that he will likely put her in.

Bella eventually learns from her friend Jacob Black of the Quileute tribe and her own observations that Edward and his family are “vegetarian” vampires who drink animal blood rather than human blood. Despite this, Edward and Bella fall deeply in love. Their foremost problem is Bella’s “alluring scent”, making it difficult for Edward to restrain himself from killing her. However, despite this and Bella’s strange knack for constantly landing herself in dangerous situations, they manage to stay together safely for a time.

The seemingly blissful state of affairs is thrown into chaos when another vampire coven sweeps into Forks and James, a tracker, sets his sights on Bella. Under the assumption that James has kidnapped her mother, Bella is lured to her former dance studio, where James attacks her. Edward, along with the rest of the Cullen family, rescues Bella before James can kill her.

The book ends with the two going to Bella’s prom. Beneath the surface, tension remains as Bella wishes for Edward to turn her into a vampire and Edward refuses to do so. The reason for Edward’s adamant decision not to turn Bella into a vampire is not revealed.

i suppose no vampire would ever turn their lover into a vampire…

i’ve got a whole lot of vampire novel at home and it’ll be a shame if i couldn’t get my hands on this book

Twilight has spawned two sequels, New Moon and the latest, Eclipse

Twilight is a #1 New York Times Best Seller which has sold over five million copies worldwide

the sequel Eclipse most recently debuted at #1 on the USA Today bestseller list unseating the newest Harry Potter

currently, Stephenie’s working on Breaking Dawn which will be officially released on 2nd August 08

for now, the cover of Breaking Dawn is still not made available to the public but come 31st May 08 the Eclipse Special Edition can be purchased during the annual BookExpo America Show

this book will include Eclipse and the cover art of Breaking Dawn, plus the fist chapter of Breaking Dawn

since both the cover of this fourth book AND the first chapter will be revealed to the public for the first time, there is definitely no excuse to not buy this book

i hope that the date will also be the worldwide release of this book

there will be an upcoming Twilight movie by Summit Entertainment LLC with its production slated to begin this month

good job to the production team for being able to find such great actors that could portray supernaturally beautiful and talented vampires

if the actors of a vampire movie couldn’t portray such vampires, then i suppose the movie couldn’t be a vampire movie

this Stephenie Meyer romance novel will be directed by Catherine Hardwicke of Thirteen (2003) and Lords of Dogtown (2005) fame

with the script written by Melissa Rosenberg, Karen Rosenfelt, Greg Mooradian and Wyck Godfrey

i just couldn’t wait for this movie

spm study skills ‘08

last Friday i was quite reluctant to attend the study skills

not really reluctant but a part of me hated the idea of attending study skills on a Friday and on weekends

i don’t wanna sacrifice my shopping day but i’m also aware that this might (not really sure bout this because i’m not here in Form 3 ) be the ONLY programme by Cempaka to prepare their students for the SPM exams in November

of course the SPM exams will be my top priority, not shopping which you can do everyday as long you have the money

finally, i woke up 6.30 am on Friday morning and attended the study skills

actually i don’t even have a choice….

the first day of the study skills was really boring because there’s the IRP

during the IRP for biology and maths, i was kinda awed by Chin Pang’s superb memory while Ranveer’s and Leon’s memory are much better than mine

it was only during the sejarah IRP that i was able to memorize lots of facts, but the three of them are also able to memorize as much

the rest of the study skills for the next few hours and Saturday were filled with many sessions where experienced speakers were invited by the school on subjects like Bahasa Malaysia, Moral, Chemistry

having the BM speaker coming over was probably one of those things that benefited Cempaka students the most

there was also a talk on EST which was utterly boring and i think many of the students will agree

Jack and Choo Ming was passing a piece of paper to everyone which i suppose there’s something about her that was written on the piece of paper

the instant you take a look at the speaker, you’ll know she’s boring

after Pn Kalai (Moral speaker) came to our school, i felt like i had just started to love Moral

yes…… only now, after years of studying Moral

today is the day for the group presentation

there are a total of 8 and 9 groups from Cheras and Damansara respectively

our group is working on a physics presentation on electrical resistance

my group and teacher : (clockwise from top left) Mr Tan, Jack, Pang, Jason, Shu Sim, Zu Vun, me and Joo Xin

i think we’re the only group that actually rehearsed for the presentation

after watchin all the presentations, i can finally conclude that Cheras students definitely did a better job than those from Damansara

not that i’m being a schoolist

many groups weren’t able to do their presentations in the 8 minute time frame but our group had everythin planned well, so we finished in 7 minutes

our group had covered all the aspects that the judges looked for in the presentations and we were confident that our presentation on physics will not be boring

we can count on the magic triangle and the demos

i don’t know why but somehow i got this feeling that we might be one of the winning groups, maybe because of what Mr Alphonsus told me

after lunch, the results were announced and…….

my group, Triangle Freaks won the first place while Lingua Franca (BM) got second place and Bio Hazard (Biology) got third place

yeah!!

seems like i’m emanating an aura of happiness to those around me today

i’m not being proud but i’m very, very happy

this year’s study skills presentation had 6 winners as there are three winners each from Cheras and Damansara

but i’m not really bothered to know which group were the winners from Damansara

LOTS OF THANKS to Mr Tan!! without your guidance, we might not get first place and we hope that you enjoyed the chocolates =)

good job to Jack for doing the keynote presentation, Shu Sim and Jason for being the two talking on stage and Pang, Zu Vun and Joo Xin ( and myself??? ) for doing the demo

congrats to the other group members that got second and third place!

i’m putting my thumbs up for Bio Hazard’s Bone Man and Achmed video

besides that, i also liked the Lingua Franca’s su su su su su su which stands for isi tersurat in rumusan

the food provided during the study skills SUCKS!!

i hate the dry, hard bread and the lunch during the third day of study skills

anyways, the study skills was really helpful for me

march pass, cempaka schools anniversary

love the march pass this year

4 sport houses from Cempaka Cheras will be joining forces in this year’s Sports Day, in conjunction with the 25th anniversary of Cempaka Schools

this was decided only yesterday

there’s only 6 more days before the Sports Day rehearsals

i’m glad to be able to do something for the march pass this year

i didn’t join in march pass but indirectly……

i’m in charge of the banners for march pass with the theme 25TH ANNIVERSARY of Cempaka

got some ideas in my head now, and i hope it’ll turn out perfect……..

and the banner is gonna be very, very, very big, length:16 ft and height: 6′6″

i suppose so…

La Corda D’oro

the first time i looked at a picture of the anime in OtakuZone, i instantly fell in love with the anime

i am a crazed fan of all shojo “harem” manga, such as Shuffle!, Saiunkoku Monogatari and of course, La Corda D’oro!

I LOVE ALL OF THEM!!!! and also love the guys in it!!

today, i finished the 26 episodes of this anime OMG!!! just when Animax had premiered La Corda D’oro yesterday, i have finished watching it….

i just couldn’t get enough of this anime and i think i’ll be watching it again soon, currently i’m reading the manga

this anime had gotten me close to tears, i SWEAR!

of all the guys, i love Len the most!! because he’s somehow romantic, i’m the romantic type of girl (a hopeless romantic..loves Paris, candlelight dinner, long passionate kisses and bouquets of roses)

and i like his sense of style….

i really want the LenXKahoko couple !!!

initially, i couldn’t really decide between the KazukiXKahoko or LenXKahoko couple :-\ but towards end of the series, i felt that Len is the one which was most suitable to be with Kahoko

he likes Kahoko in a romantic sense, but somehow he just couldn’t accept the fact that Kahoko could play such beautiful pieces on the violin in such a short time, plus she’s not a music student

no wonder he’s very, very curious about her

i’ve finally decided that Len and Kahoko are meant for each other because he seems to be very caring and even advises her on holding the violin and standing properly and she was the one and only girl that managed to change his personality

” there’s a fairy in this school that helped in the romance between the two participants, supposedly both are violinists” Mio

a VIOLIN ROMANCE !!! seems like the story behind the concours is repeating itself (you know what i mean)

as a matter of fact, Kazuki is a really good guy, he’s always on Kahoko’s side especially when she needed somebody to cheer her up or help her in sticky situations

i have a penchant for spiky and green- haired guys, Kazuki and Ueki Kosuke |-)

partly i also like his personality because he’s a foodie (like me), always cheerful, outgoing, friendly and he PLAYS BASKETBALL!

i seriously don’t like Azuma because he’s actually a mean and intimidating person beneath the considerate and kind Yunoki- sama

despite the fact that he opposed his grandmother and canceled the transfer just to be by Kahoko’s side

i bet he know the truth that Kahoko is actually not knowledgeable in music and the very reason she could participate in the concours was because of Lili’s help and the magic violin that she’s using

remember what he said when she told him that she”ll tell everyone about his actual self??

on the other hand, Ryoutarou isn’t really handsome although he’s quite romantic

* sorry to Ryou’s fans out there* ah, i guess it couldn’t be helped that i don’t like Ryou

but i was really awed by his piano- playing skills and he plays pieces by Chopin!!!

my, i like Chopin!!

i love the op and ed because i find the lyrics are very meaningful

this is probably the anime that makes me love the violin , before this i just love the piano and drums

there’s a few pieces that i really LOVE in this anime like Ave Maria, Gavotte and Caprice No. 24

boys that play some sort of musical instruments are more romantic, that’s what i think

then what bout girls?? uhh…. i think this doesn’t apply to girls because i don’t play any instruments and yet i’m that kind of girl

スペシャル・エー anime!!!

it is announced in issue 21 2007 of Hana to Yume mag that Special A will be adapted into an anime

the animation of this anime will be done by Gonzo and AIC

yeah! but i would prefer BONES to do this…

i love reading the manga by Minami Maki and the characters in it develop well
