shopping at pavilion

was very busy yesterday, so had no time to blog

i did my add maths tuition homework then went shopping at Pavilion till 10.30 pm and when i came back, i continued my homework till 2 am

* oh my, i’m beginning to look like a panda. gotta get more beauty sleep *

at Pavillion, i bought few more accessories to add to my collection

i’m an accessories- freak

then, we (me, dad, sis) went to try Baskin Robbins’ new ice- cream fondue at one of their signature desert cafe, Cafe Baskin Robbins

2339964068_e89530c317.jpg

i love to dip the ice cream in the melted chocolate which will slowly solidify into a crunchy chocolate shell!

the sauce comes in two flavors; dark choco. and hazelnut choco. , we chose hazelnut because chocolates are heaty

the more chocolatey, the heat- ier the chocolate

the hazelnut chocolate tastes like those inside the thin wafer shell of Ferrero Rocher, well those inside are also the same; nutella or hazelnut cream

this set also comes with some fruits and brownies * yum*

i just like Pavilion because of the food there

shopping- wise, i prefer KLCC which has everything under one roof from Gap to Chanel to Kino, unlike here

however, there are many shops here that KLCC don’t have but the Gardens have, such as Springfield, GANT, Mandarina Duck and Canali (i’m sure KLCC don’t have but not really sure bout the Gardens, there’s Springfield in the Gardens not KLCC)

talking bout the Gardens, i love Robinsons and the shop in there which sells Japanese snacks

Food Republic is ok, i love the food at ToastBox (French toast with kaya in particular) while my sis’s pan mee is so salty * ack!!! water please! *

haven’t tried those specialty food outlets like Madam Kwan, Kung Jung Korean Restaurant, ThaiExpress, Yo! Sushi, etc. * gonna go again for the fourth time*

ヴァンパイア騎士 anime !!!

e38f52f4.jpg

i’m so happy!

finally, the wish of all vampire knight fans have been granted!

it’d been announced in the latest issue of Lala magazine.

expect a star- studded cast as they’ll be having the same seiyuus as the DramaCD but we wouldn’t be seeing Koyasu Takehito in the cast for the anime

Cross Yuki ~ Horie Yui

Kuran Kaname ~ Kishio Daisuke

Kiryu Zero ~ Miyano Mamoru

Ichijou Takuma ~ Chiba Susumu

Aidou Hanabusa ~ Fukuyama Jun

Kain Akatsuki ~ Suwabe Junichi

Cross Kaien ~ Hozumi Goda

Shiki Senri ~ Hoshi Soichiro

Tooya Rima ~ Kitamura Eri

Souen Ruka ~ Minagawa Junko

Seiren ~ Mizuno Risa

Hiou Shizuka ~ Sonoda Keiko

Wakaba Sayori ~ Ueda Kana

the opening theme is “Futatsu no Kodou to Akai Tsumi ” by ON/OFF

to catch a glimpse of the anime visuals, go to youtube and search vampire knight PV

the ending theme is “still doll” by Kanon Wakeshima

i love the op more than the ed

last october it was announced that Special A will be adapted into an anime, and now Vampire Knight

my, this is so awesome. two of my favorite manga series being adapted into anime

lets hope that more Hakushensha’s manga will be seeing its animated self soon XD

i’m hoping that some decent studio will be animating Vampire Knight, seems to be Studio DEEN which was the one involved in the animation production of R.O.D the TV, Samurai Deeper Kyo, The Law of Ueki, Kyou Kara Maoh, Fruits Basket and Jigoku Shoujo Futskomori.

it’ll be an utter disappointment if the anime does not have the same air as the manga, a vampire anime SHOULD be done in such a way to ensure that it’ll be the same as the manga

the visuals are good but they don’t seem to live up to the SUPERB standards of Matsuri Hino’s artwork in the manga, but still……… its beautiful….., seriously

*seen the PV already *

hopefully, the plot will be better than those of the manga, not drag-ly (the only weak point of the manga)

anyways, i hope the anime will be released ASAP, couldn’t wait for 7th April

it is something to look forward to but the slated date of release might be too early

however, the date stated above is for the anime to be aired on japan’s TV TOKYO, not in Malaysia !! addemoticons04219.gif

my biggest weakness is vampires and if it’s concerning a vampire bishie like kaname, OMG!!

- a true vampire lover and i love bishies, esp dark and mysterious ones

ever since i bought the first volume of vampire knight at Kino , i’ve already fallen deeply and madly in love with the manga

i’ve read till chapter 38 and couldn’t wait for the next chapter, now here comes the news that there’s gonna be a vampire knight anime oh!

i’m simply too excited for the anime!

HOPE THAT KANAME AND YUKI WILL BE TOGETHER IN THE END :K

fashionista

my fashionista self started to blossom inside me when i watched paradise kiss in 2006

then, i began to flip thru my mom’s fashion mags

now, i’m a real fashionista

but i‘ve never really introduced my fashionista self in my blog.

well, today it seems as if i’ll be blogging a lil’ bit about my fashion- fetish self.

who is your favorite fashion designer??

Karl Lagerfeld, John Galliano, Zang Toi and Marc Jacobs.

what is your favorite bags??

tote bags and handbags.

i HATE hobos!

i’m obsessed with takashi murakami’s LV multicolore monogrammed bag OMG!! this certainly gonna be the first handbag that i’ll buy when i earn my own money.

what is your favorite brand of jeans??

Evisu, Miss Sixty, Seven For All Mankind, MNG ,Guess? and Levi’s

what is your favorite brands??

not expensive ones: Gap, Levi’s, Guess and nafnaf

expensive ones: Chanel, Guess by marciano, Dior, Gucci, Versace, Louis Vuitton and Salvatore Ferragamo.

these are my favorite brands but if there’s some really pretty designs by other brands, i wouldn’t be hesitant in buying it.

what type of shoes is your favorite ??

sport shoes, stilettos, pumps, wedges, ankle boots, oxfords and flip flops.

loafers?? duh….. me??

what is your favorite accessories??

dunno… i love all accessories. i usually wear only a statement piece of accessory, necklace, choker, ring or big, chunky bangle

where do you usually buy your accessories??

anywhere. but so far, i’ve never bought any accessories from markets and i think i’ll never.

who is your fashion idol??

paris hilton, ayumi hamasaki and victoria beckham

what is your favorite fashion mag??

female, harper’s bazaar (not the malaysian edition, please), elle.

what about brooches??

hmmm……. one of these seasons must- haves, so i’m going shopping for a perfect brooch. probably gonna buy a floral or bejeweled brooch. now, brooches are not so aunty anymore, i’ll look good in it. if a particular trend of some season doesn’t suit me, then i’ll stay away from it. i’m not a trend- freak person okay.

what is your favorite brand of watch??

Adidas, Maurice Lacroix, Chanel and Dior.

i bet like 10 (maybe 9) out of 10 people will want to own a rolex. but for me, no rolex. probably because i think rolex is so old- fashioned. yeah, that’s the only one reason.

do you love dresses??

yeah! i love all kinds of dresses, simple yet sexy.

what about sunglasses??

i love em’. they aren’t big this spring/ summer but will be forever attention- grabbing.

will you ever buy imitation stuff??

oh god, NO! i’ll never ever buy those, even if those fake looks very much like the real one. i’ve always seen people (men or women) carrying fake items and i’ll be like looking at it for very long periods of time, just exaggerating. most of the time, i’ll see LX instead of LV. MUAHAHAHAHA. the famous fakes are those of Louis Vuitton, Gucci and Chanel.

which fashion capital would you want to visit??

someday, i mean really soon. i wanna go to Paris and Tokyo (Harujuku, Ginza, Shinjuku, Shibuya also)

what about a fashion- related career??

well, it might be possible. a career in fashion isn’t bad, besides fashion is my passion.

malaysian fashion don’t really interest me, until the recent Stylo KL Fashion Festival

somehow, i’ve always felt that Malaysian models weren’t as beautiful as their Milan, Paris, New York fashion show counterparts

besides, i don’t really like the designs showcased by some of our homegrown designers

now, it seems like my perception towards Malaysian designers have changed, not 100% but probably 55%

of all the designs in the fest, i love Melinda Looi’s haute couture the most which was featured on the opening show of this fest

stylo.jpg

OMG ! i really love haute couture pieces

French lace and tuille makes me love haute couture even more…..

it isn’t only the fashion that entices me, it’s also the make up by Shu Uemura and L’Oreal Professionel

honestly, i don’t really like Edric Ong’s designs on the show because i think his designs are too Malaysian

anyways, it did truly reflect Malaysian culture

on March 21st, the fest ended with the Mercedes- Benz Stylo Fashion Awards ( same with Stylo Star of The Year Award??) being shared by Rizalman and Micheal Ong

pendulum and spinner likeness ride

yesterday, we went to the nearby fun fair( those fun parks that moves around) that comes like twice a year

*posted this today coz after riding Kamikaze, felt weak*

its been a very long time since i came to this park

i remember the last time i came to this park was in 2002

me and my sis were so excited to try out the pendulum ride in this park

the last time we came here, my sis couldn’t take a ride on it because she haven’t reached the specified height yet

so, i said that we might then sit the pendulum ride at the Sunway Lagoon theme park next time

but we didn’t go to Sunway Lagoon after that

at this fair yesterday, my sis and i took a ride on one of the rides (don’t know the name) that looks like the Spinner at Genting Highlands

spinner.jpg

it oscillates and tilts all the same (don’t mind the height which it rises to, a few feet maybe 5 or 6) but there’s a twist to the one at Genting…

it oscillates backwards!! COOL!!!!!

kind of thrilling and when it moves in this direction, the atmospheric pressure acting on us is super- high

the last time i sat this ride there’s no backward motion even Genting don’t have this

the organisers probably decided on offering something different this time as the price has also increased

after that ride, we went looking around for other rides

there’s pirate ship but it isn’t open * sad*

anyways, that didn’t really sadden us because we’ve tried it out once in Malacca (forgot the name of the place)

*gonna try the Flying Carpet at Sunway Lagoon*

then, we went to try the Kamikaze, Double Arm Ranger , The Apollo aka pendulum ride which is sorta like the Sky Flyer that have two- pendulum like arms with passenger cabins at each end

at first i was feeling kinda afraid but then i told myself ” i’ve even tried Flying Coaster, so what’s the big deal with this pendulum ride?”

so, we paid for the ride and went to seat in one of the 16 passenger- gondolas

not many dared to try this ride, seems like we’re the only one on this ride

then, four people came up and sat nearby

as soon as these people were safely in their respective seats, the ride started to gain speed instantly

when the arms swing back, it felt really scaaaary!

its like you gonna drop forward and the only thing that’s supporting you is the shoulder harness

there’s no secondary locking bar across our laps like most of this kind of rides have

i couldn’t lean on my seat and my legs was like pushing hard against the floor of the gondola

then the arms swing forwards, this time it isn’t as scary as when it moves backwards

my legs weren’t touching the floor of the gondola and i’m like glued to the seat

it isn’t scary except for the fact that my legs might bend backwards and smack my face

the arms then swing back again and forth the whole time, building momentum

eventually, it swings full 360 degrees

occasionally (3 or 5 times), the arms stop at 12 o’clock position, leaving us upside down

that’s probably the time when i screamed on the top of my lungs

i did open my eyes during the ride

finally, the ride was over

however, i could still feel the speed after that

the ride doesn’t really affect me but my sis seemed to be quite affected by that ride *grins*

anyways, there’s no way i could really explain the experience i had

its better to experience it yourself

pendulum.jpg

*hope to ride the this (the real pendulum) someday*

death note 3

dn3.jpg

finally, the third installment of death note is coming to malaysia

death note 3 change the world

check out the trailer

this sequel depicts the last 23 days of L’s life

*sob sob* i don’t want L to die

there’s a new girl in the cast and i think she might be the new Shinigami

the theme song is I’ll Be Waiting by Lenny Kravitz

its simply awesome

i love the movie a lot but i haven’t been reading the manga or watched the anime yet

*gonna read the manga sometime this year*

the movie is said to be quite faithful to the manga

so for those who had read the manga or watched the movie, the story doesn’t really change much but i’m not really sure bout the anime

for those who don’t know death note, watch the trailer and you’ll find the trailer is sorta cool

if you wanna know more bout death note, visit this site: www.deathnote.tv

then, you’ll probably be watching the movie too during the nationwide release soon

12th general election

as far i could remember, i weren’t really into the election spirit

but this year’s election really had me interested

yesterday 1o pm, i was already sitting eagerly in front of the tv as soon as i came back from shopping, waiting for the results of the election

the results???

the results shocked us but its not altogether surprising for all of us

the opposition won lots of seats this year which i think is a piece of good news while BN lost terribly

the Opposition gained significantly with PKR winning 36 parliamentary seats and DAP and PAS got 16 seats each

on the contrary, BN only managed to secure a 36% representation in Parliament, compared to its 91% achievement in the previous elections

at first i thought that BN might win in the election this time around because they were advertising like hell while the Opposition did not even advertise

BN will now have to put up with increasingly heated debates on Bills, the Constitution, budget and national level affairs

but its not fair for the opposing party because BN had the money to advertise since they’re the government and that’s OUR money!

ever since the election fever started 2 weeks ago, BN had lots of commercials in the tv and radio

in the papers, many advertisements by MIC and BN could also be seen, asking the citizens to vote them and telling the public about what they had done for the community

on the other hand, Micheal Chong of the MCA was informing the public about how they had helped those in need and seeked justice for them, so those people ought to vote for them

“vote for malaysia. vote Barisan Nasional”

this phrase really annoyed me when i’m listening to the radio, it seems like they advertised every 5 minutes

~back to the results~

calls of change resounded across the country with the states such as Kedah, Kelantan, Perak ,Penang and Selangor being taken over by the Opposition

and BN lost two-thirds of the majority at parliament level

for a change, the Opposition should rule

rising prices, increasing crime rates, the rise in inter- ethnic and inter- religious tension and corruption has led to the perception that the government was not doing its job

corruption trend in malaysia

in addition, the PM exacerbated these problems with his style of leadership which i suppose most Malaysians will agree

its no surprise that the PM won a second term in the 12th general election with a simple majority

BN will now have to put up with increasingly heated debates on Bills, the Constitution, budget and national level affairs

no matter its PKR, DAP or PAS- at least its the Opposition that’s the one in power, we’re now finally be able to see real democracy at work

this change in government gives us a chance to compare governance and also allows the Opposition to investigate those government Datuk’s which are suspected of doing hanky- panky

but i never expected that either Sharizat or Koh Tsu Koon would lose this time since they seemed to be liked by the people of their respective areas ie. Lembah Pantai and Batu Kawan

when the results of the polls in Perak were being announced, my mom and me was like hoping that Samy Vellu will lose the election this time

true to what we had hoped, they announced that Samy had lost in the Sungai Siput parliamentary seat

congrats to Dr Micheal Jayakumar for defeating Samy in Sungai Siput

let’s hope that this central committee member of Parti Sosialis Malaysia is tons better than old Samy…

YAY! i bet that everyone out there really think its time for him to retire from politics

Samy’s legacy was finally over..

every one of us wanted him to lose for many reasons, but….

i bet the main reason he lost this time was because the Indian community were probably very furious with him regarding the Hindraf issue in which a few lawyers were jailed by the ISA – the main reason he lost in Sungai Siput

as the president of MIC, he should be able to do something, right??

somehow, i find this whole general election very amusing

i don’t think the campaigning during election in other countries is like the one we had this year

with the election in Malaysia over, i’ll be anticipating the election in the States

i’m supporting Barrack Obama of the Democrats

jay chou

this is probably one of jay’s best song in his eighth album, on the run

我不配 wo bu peii’m not worthy

beware SPOILERS!!

this mv is sad and i think that’s probably one of his trademark mv styles as in nocturne and a few others

it makes me start thinking “what happens if your guy is a celebrity?”

no one will like it because you couldn’t go anywhere with him, he’ll be attacked by paparazzi and reporters

the only place both of you could be together is probably at home

but i don’t think any girl could lead such life and then you’ll break up with him

it’s SO SAD….. maybe some of you couldn’t feel it, but after watching this mv

i reckon you will

amths

add maths is probably the worst subject i’ve ever learned in my life

its always the subject which i got the lowest grades when compared to my physics or chemistry results

i put it down to the lack of exercise, so..

i tried revising add maths everyday but what i’ve got is having my neck aching, fingers feeling tired and my eyes couldn’t focus anymore

then’ i’ll just lie on the sofa and finally ended up sleeping; well, most of the time it ended up like that..

in class, add maths is the lesson that i’ll yawn the most

differentiation and integration really confuses me *sigh*

i’ve done many exercises but it doesn’t seem to be of any effect

so, i vowed to double the add maths questions that i do

from today onwards.. after i got my results
