the recent sex photo scandal that started since a month ago had shocked hong kong’s entertainment scene and the citizens of that city

this scandal had put this guy and a few gals at the centre of attention

Edison

and cecilia cheung, gillian chung, bobo chan and a few more less- known people

everyone was circulating the explicit photos on the Net ever since it was being made available to the online community

many of the people that i know had seen these pictures on blogs

i also saw it through an sms sent to me which states the name of the blog, which i’m not gonna tell

and for the past few days, news of that scandal was splattered on most of the newspapers here

i read all of it AND….

i really don’t think that edison should be blamed 100% for all these photographs

those starlets that were in compromising positions with him should also be blamed because they were acknowledging the camera

they knew that they were being photographed !

and the person that had stolen the photographs from his macbook, should be blamed too

inadvertently, this fuss had the triads poking their noses

they had reportedly put a price on edison’s hand

a whooping 0.5 million HK$

i really couldn’t believe my eyes when i later read in the papers that the triads are his current girlfriend, Vincy’s family people (something like that)

this revelation came to me when i read the article a few days ago which also said that Edison tried to escape from the hands of the triads by wanting to marry Vincy

guess what she did when he proposed to her?

she refused his proposal even after he proposed 4 times!

she don’t seem like a 19 year- old that will do that…

finally, Edison came back to hong kong on 21 feb to make a public apology at the hk exhibition and convention centre

coincidently (or on purpose), this is also the spot where Edison filmed his first hk movie alongside Maggie Q, Sam Lee, Stephen Fung, Richard Sun and Rachel Ngan in..

besides, he also announced that he will retire from the hk entertainment scene

actually, it doesn’t really matter for he can make a name for himself in the States

or maybe japan?

actually, i’m Edison’s fan

but being a fan of his didn’t influence me in saying that he isn’t the one to be blamed totally by the public for the photos

i really gotta say that i like all his songs and his acting, too

he played the role of Ryousuke very well in Initial D and also the role of Lau Kin- Ming in Infernal Affairs

but with him retiring, i’ll probably never be able to hear him sing any new cantonese/ mandarin songs……. or see him act in any Hong Kong movie

but i’ll be seeing him in Batman: The Dark Knight as LSI VP, a bad guy – cameo appearance-
